In May 2012, the Coalition published its strategic plan to address alcohol and drug problems in our community focusing on enforcement, prevention and treatment issues. (A copy is available here.) Briefly stated, the Coalition’s long-term goal for treatment is to establish a coordinated continuum of care meeting the needs of the diverse populations in our community by increasing access, eliminating barriers, closing gaps in services, improving quality, increasing use of evidence-based practices, and developing information systems supporting the delivery of effective, person-centered care.
