Treatment Work Group

National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services

The Coalition’s Treatment Work Group is collaborating with the New Orleans Health Department and the Metropolitan Human Services District to collect basic aggregate data on all treatment and recovery services in conjunction with the annual National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS).

The first step was to identify all facilities that were likely to be providing treatment or recovery services to persons with substance abuse problems in the four parish area. Five sources were used including the Behavioral Health Resource Guide published by the New Orleans Health Department.
