In May 2012, the Coalition published its strategic plan to address alcohol and drug problems in our community focusing on enforcement, prevention and treatment issues. (A copy is available here.) Briefly stated, the Enforcement goal is to enhance public safety by: disrupting the flow of illegal drugs; reducing drunk and drugged driving; reducing youth access to alcohol and other illicit drugs; disrupting the illegal diversion of prescription drugs; utilizing strategic operational methods and technology among local, state and federal agencies to rapidly assess, identify and disrupt criminal activity; implement community-based enforcement practices.
